THE ODD COUPLE, FEMALE VERSION by Neil Simon
October 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, November 4, 5, 6
Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is. Olive Madison, a divorcee who freely admits
to being a slob, has invited the girls over for a game of Trivial Pursuit. Late to arrive is Florence Unger, a fuss-budget who has
just become separated from her husband. As life would have it, the slob and the fuss-budget decide to room together -- with
hilarious results! Within days, Florence's obsessive habits start taking their toll on Olive and their friends. The only remedy
Olive can think of (2 suave, gigilo brothers from Barcelona) disastrously backfires, and the two women are forced to agree on
one thing -- even the best of friends sometimes make the worst of roommates. Great family fun!
RUMORS by Neil Simon
November 25, 26, 27, December 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18
Four couples arrive at the townhouse of a deputy New York City mayor and his wife to attend a party celebrating their tenth
wedding anniversary. However, the four couples soon discover that there are no servants, the hostess is missing and the deputy
mayor has shot himself in the head (it’s only a flesh wound). Comic complications arise when, given everyone's upper class
status, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening's events from the local police and the media.
Great Christmas staff party fun.
SPREADING IT AROUND by Londos D’Arrigo
February 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26
This light-hearted comedy finds Angela Drayton, a wealthy widow living in a retirement community in Florida. When she
grows tired of footing the bills and handing out money to her ungrateful children, she and some of the other residents start the
“S.I.N. (Spending It Now) Foundation,” an organization which gives to those really in need. Fearing they will lose their
inheritance, her greedy son, and his shopaholic wife show up to try to have her committed for incompetence. Turning the
tables, Angela shows them just how competent she is, and then shows them the door. Great family show!
LEADING LADIES by Ken Ludwig
March 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31, April 1, 2
In this hilarious comedy by the author of Lend Me A Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo, two English Shakespearean actors, Jack
and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit
in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to
her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. The trouble is,
when they get to York, they find out the relatives aren’t nephews, but nieces! Romantic entanglements abound, especially when
Leo falls head-over-petticoat in love with the old lady’s vivacious niece, Meg, who’s engaged to the local minister. Slapstick
goofiness, scrambled Shakespeare, and good-natured laughs make Leading Ladies an irresistible treat.
