Food & Beverage Supervisor

The Stanford Hotel Grande Prairie is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at our onsite restaurant and bar.
The successful candidate should possess ProServe and FoodSafe certification and have strong working knowledge of day-to-day operations in restaurant, lounge and catering environments.
Ongoing residence at hotel is available for this position. The F&B Supervisor must be available for flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
This position comes with opportunity for eventual advancement into the role of Food & Beverage Manager. Proven leadership skills and an outgoing personality are essential.
Duties will include:
  • Managing entire restaurant front-of-house operations during shifts including opening and closing procedures, cash management and employee scheduling
  • Assisting with food & bar prep
  • Maintaining stock and inventory
  • Ensuring adherence food safety standards and liquor regulations  
  • Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
  • Organizing specials, promotions and discount schemes
  • Preparing weekly reports on staff control, food control and sales
  • Coordinating food services for weddings and special events
